Citizen Science

Wisconsin Audubon Council hopes to engage as many people as possible in meaningful research and activities that promote better habitats and important birding initiatives. Below is a list of citizen science projects anyone can do to support bird conservation:

• eBird - report your bird sightings
• Wisconsin Bird Surveys
• Annual Midwest Crane Count (Sat., April 18, 2015)
• Christmas Bird Counts (December 14 through January 5):

• Great Backyard Bird Count - 2^nd Friday to Monday in February
• Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas 2 - watch for news of planned start in 2015
